Colorful KS

Playing with color is my favorite reason to paint with watercolor. I love to see what the paint will do on its own, like in this rainbow tie-dye style painting. I used only three colors to create this--red, blue, and yellow. I let them blend on the page to create this fascinating entire color spectrum.

This piece features a rainbow of color surrounding the outline of the state of Kansas. It comes in an 8x10 inch white mat to fit a standard frame of your choice.
